1. According to the experimental proof in recent years, the diesel engine used in the plateau area can be used as the power compensation of the plateau by exhaust gas turbocharging. Exhaust gas turbocharging not only compensates for the lack of plateau power, but also improves smoke color, restores power performance and reduces fuel consumption.
2. With the increase of altitude, the ambient temperature is also lower than that in the plain area, generally every 1000M, the ambient temperature will drop by about 0.6 degrees Celsius, and because the plateau air is thin, therefore, the starting performance of the diesel engine is worse than that in the plain area. When the user is in use, the auxiliary starting measures corresponding to the low temperature start should be taken.
3. Due to the increase in altitude, the boiling point of water decreases, and at the same time, the wind pressure and cooling air quality of the cooling air decrease, as well as the increase in heat dissipation per kilowatt per unit time, so the heat dissipation conditions of the cooling system are worse than those in the plain. Generally, it is not suitable to use open cooling cycle in plateau altitude areas, and pressurized closed cooling system can be used to increase the boiling point of coolant when used on plateau.
4. The ability of diesel units with different power to work on the plateau is not the same, to avoid overload operation, the radiator uses a closed-cycle system.
