The diesel generator set in operation will generate a lot of heat, and if the heat is not properly dissipated, it will cause the unit to heat up, and the heating up to a certain extent will cause the diesel engine to burn out or reduce the life. At the end of the year, diesel generator sets are often in a shutdown state, especially the maintenance and use of the radiator of the unit.

1. Replace the coolant in the radiator (water tank). It is recommended to add sufficient amount of antifreeze to prevent radiators and cylinders

freeze cracking;

 2. If the diesel generator set does not add antifreeze, put the cooling water in the body and radiator clean after the shutdown after use;

3. Change the engine oil and diesel fuel used. It is recommended that the concentration of engine oil replacement is relatively low, and the freezing point of diesel fuel is more than 5 degrees Celsius below room temperature (depending on the region);

Fourth, when the machine is turned on, appropriately increase the idle running time, determine that the body temperature reaches the relative temperature, and then run at high speed, the recommended idle operation: 8-10 minutes.

In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to the ventilation of the equipment room and the external/internal cleaning of the radiator.
